How the Bear Hunt squad formation tool works

The Bear Hunt in Whiteout Survival is a rally event: your alliance sends several rallies against the bear, and the damage each rally deals depends on how you fill it. This free tool takes your rally capacity, your available Infantry, Lancers and Marksmen, and the number of rallies (up to 7), then tells you exactly how many of each troop type to put in every squad.

The recommended formation keeps at least 1 Infantry in each rally as a frontline, then fills the rest with as many Marksmen as possible for maximum damage. If you don't have enough Marksmen, they are shared evenly and the remaining slots are filled with Lancers, then Infantry. When you don't have enough troops to fill every rally, each type is simply divided evenly across your squads.

Bear Hunt Formation — FAQ

How should I fill my Bear Hunt rallies?
Keep at least 1 Infantry per rally to hold the front, then load the rest with Marksmen for damage. This tool does that split for you across all your rallies so every squad is balanced.
What rally capacity should I enter?
It's the total number of troops a single rally can hold — driven by your rally-size research, hero rally skills and Chief Gear. Enter that number and the tool fills each rally up to it.
Why mostly Marksmen with one Infantry?
Marksmen deal the most damage to the bear, while a single Infantry acts as a tank so your Marksmen survive longer. That 1-Infantry, rest-Marksmen shape maximises total rally damage.
How many rallies can I plan?
From 1 to 7 rallies. Pick the number your alliance runs and the tool spreads your troops evenly across them.
