Plan every hero star-up in Whiteout Survival without wasting a single shard. Add each hero you are building, set their current stars and target, and instantly see the shard cost per hero and the total across your whole plan.
Star levels are one of the biggest sources of hero power. The shard cost is the same for every hero — only the shard rarity (Rare, Epic or Mythic) changes — so this calculator works for Harold, Molly, Jeronimo and every generation. Use it to budget recruitment events, the Lucky Wheel and duplicate pulls so you always know your real shard target.
Pick a hero and press Add. Repeat for every hero you are planning — Mia, Jeronimo, Natalia and the rest.
For each hero, select the stars they are at now and the star level you want to reach, up to 5★.
Each row shows that hero's shard cost; the results panel totals your whole plan and the cost to max every hero.
Hero shards can't be shared between heroes, so the total is a sum of separate per-hero targets.
Each star-up has a fixed shard cost: 1★ = 10, 2★ = 40, 3★ = 115, 4★ = 300, 5★ = 600. Shards needed = cumulative(target) − cumulative(current), where cumulative stars are 0, 10, 50, 165, 465 and 1,065.
Example: a 3★ hero you want at 5★ costs 1,065 − 165 = 900 shards. If you already hold 250, you still need 650 more.
