How to use the Buildings calculator
Pick the building and set both levels
Choose the building and enter your current level and target level. The calculator sums every intermediate upgrade in the range, not just the final jump, so you see the full bill.
Add your construction speed bonuses
Enter the construction speed percentage you get from research, pets, VIP and any city buffs. This turns the raw base build time into the time you will actually experience.
Read the resource and time totals
The tool splits the cost into meat, wood, coal and iron, adding steel and Fire Crystals once you reach the higher levels. It also shows the total build time before speedups are applied.
Plan around the Furnace gate
No building can exceed your Furnace level, so use the totals to decide whether to push the Furnace first or bring support buildings up to your current cap before spending.
How building costs and time scale
Below Furnace level 30, every upgrade draws on the four standard resources — meat, wood, coal and iron — with steel entering the mix at the highest levels. From Furnace 30 onward the buildings move into Fire Crystal tiers FC1 through FC10, which stack Fire Crystals on top of the usual resources. Build time rises with each level and is then divided by your construction speed bonuses and paid down by speedups, so two players with the same building can face very different real timers.
Costs climb steeply rather than linearly, so a single upgrade near the top of the standard range can demand many times what an early level cost, and the FC tiers raise the ceiling again. Because the calculator adds up every step in your range, entering a 1-to-30 jump shows the complete stockpile you need to reserve rather than only the last level's price — useful for knowing whether to farm resources or start refining Fire Crystals before you begin.

What resources do building upgrades need?
Standard building upgrades use meat, wood, coal and iron, with steel added at higher levels. The calculator sums every resource and the total construction time for your selected range.
How many Furnace levels are there?
The Furnace has 30 standard levels; after level 30 it upgrades through the Fire Crystal tiers (FC1–FC10), which use Fire Crystals instead of standard resources.
How can I reduce building construction time?
Construction time is shortened by construction speed buffs, pet skills, alliance tech and speed-ups. The calculator shows base time so you can plan around your bonuses.
Which building should I upgrade first in Whiteout Survival?
Prioritise the Furnace, because it caps the maximum level of every other building in your city. Once the Furnace is ahead, use the wos buildings calculator to bring your Embassy, War Academy and troop-training buildings up to that new ceiling.
What are the Fire Crystal (FC) building levels in Whiteout Survival?
After Furnace level 30, buildings stop using plain numbered levels and enter the Fire Crystal tiers FC1 through FC10. These upgrades require Fire Crystals in addition to standard resources, which is why the buildings calculator shows a Fire Crystal column once you set a target past level 30.
Can I upgrade a building higher than my Furnace level in wos?
No — the Furnace acts as a hard cap, so a support building can only match its level, never exceed it. If the calculator shows a target you cannot reach yet, raise the Furnace first and the rest of your buildings will unlock in step.
